The Good, the Bad, and the......BEST!

I’ll start with the bad news since it’s always better to end on a good note.  The bad news is I’ll be missing the first couple days of the Training Camp….
HOWEVER - I’m missing the camp because…..the GOOD news ——> my team (the Atlanta Silverbacks) clinched the Eastern Conference Championship and is advancing to the 2010 W-League Championship Tournament in Santa Clarita, California!
The BEST news is that this has been such a blessing as I’ve been recovering from a back injury that ended my season last year.  I’m extremely grateful for all who supported me through the trying times - family, friends, teammates, mentors, doctors, physical therapists, and even the doctor’s who gave the wretched 3 cortisone shots in my back!  Stepping foot on the field, even for practice, brings me so much happiness, and I never thought I could develop anymore love for the game -but apparently there’s still more to give.  The saying goes, “You never know what you have, until you lose it…..” (I know what you’re thinking, it’s not always about relationships!)
Ok, enough of the sappy talk!  Tomorrow’s my first day of Orientation for the Falcons…..I’ll let you know how it goes!

1 Week until Falcon's Training Camp!

Welcome to all my new followers!

I think it's very appropriate that the Falcon's Training Camp is my first blog.  I have a driving passion for sports and am particularly interested in football.  As many of you know, I've been flying with the Eagles since birth (I had to....I  know, corny), however the time has come for me to spread my wings and fly south to support the Atlanta Falcons as I am going to be an Event Marketing Intern for their Training Camp.

I want to use my first post as a way to connect to my followers and find out what you guys want to see and hear from behind the scenes at Training Camp.  Who do you want to hear about?  What activities do you want to know about?  Who do you want pictures of?  Do you want to follow what I'm doing as an Intern?.....etc.

Looking forward to your responses.......

GO FALCONS....
